With a surface area of 42.8 Km squared and a maximum of 60 feet it is one of the larger lakes in Alberta. It is a pristine body of water with many surrounding attractions. Additionally, Sylvan Lake is known to have great water quality – which means it’s a safe place to swim.
As far as the lake goes, there’s plenty of activities you can do!
Whether you prefer to relax and enjoy the view (with the occasional dip) or you are looking to enjoy a more immersive experience, there’s fun to be had for everyone. You will see people swimming, paddle boarding, boating and sea dooing, there are a variety of water sports available and much more!
